This guide covers only the core path for first-time setup. Start by completing the full process on one frequently used device, confirm that the subscription and routes work correctly, and then use the same account on other devices. VyVPN supports unlimited devices, so there is no need to purchase another plan for an additional computer, tablet, or other supported device. Route principles, streaming region behavior, and advanced troubleshooting are covered in the Streaming Guide and Help Center.
Create an account and open the panel
Start by opening VyVPN’s account creation page. You will be asked to set a username and password, and no email address is required. Use the username to sign in later and the password to protect your account and subscription details. Submit the form when finished. If the username is already taken, the page will ask you to choose another one; simply adjust the username instead of returning to the marketing page and starting over.
After the account is created, you will enter the user panel. First confirm that the username you just set appears at the top or in the account section, then review the account overview, plans, client downloads, and other options. It is normal for no active plan to be available yet; the next step is to open the Plans section and make a selection. Before leaving this page, save your username and password securely. You will use the same login details when opening the panel on other devices.
If you remain on the same page after submitting, read the message near the input fields first, then check the username format and make sure both password entries match. If the page does not load correctly, refresh it and try again. If connection issues continue, visit the Accounts and Subscriptions section of the Help Center for the relevant steps. There is no need to create multiple accounts.
Choose a plan and place your order
In the Plans section of the user panel, you will find monthly subscriptions and data packages. Monthly subscriptions are ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB; data resets monthly from the activation date. They suit regular use with relatively stable monthly consumption. Data packages cost ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. They remain valid until the data is used and never expire, making them better for irregular use and long-term cumulative consumption.
Estimate your typical usage first, then open the details for the relevant plan. Video generally uses more data than web browsing, text collaboration, and everyday searches. If you are unsure, compare the included data and reset policy rather than focusing only on the one-time price. After confirming your choice, open the order page and check the plan name, amount, and validity method. Then pay with Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT.
After payment, return to the user panel and do not submit the same order again. Once the system confirms it, the account overview will show the current service status and available data. If the order status does not update promptly, reopen the Orders section first instead of paying again. For first-time setup, continue to subscription retrieval only after the plan clearly shows as active, so the client can receive the complete route list during its first update. All plans support unlimited devices and include 14-day no-questions-asked refunds.
Get the subscription link from the panel
Once the plan is active, return to the account overview in the user panel. Find the subscription or client import section, where you may see options to copy the subscription, import it into a client, or view setup instructions. The subscription link is the credential clients use to read route configuration. Copy it directly from the current account panel; do not obtain it from chat history, search results, or another webpage, and do not manually delete, add, or replace any characters in the link.
After copying, you can paste it into a local text field to confirm that the content is complete, but do not share it publicly. If the tutorial needs to show the link format, use only an obvious example address, such as:
https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN
The address above cannot be used to connect; it only shows that a subscription is normally a complete URL. For actual setup, use the content generated for the current account in the user panel. If the client reports that the subscription is empty, return to the overview and confirm that the plan is active. If the copy button does nothing, use the manual copy option provided on the page, select the entire link, and paste it into the client.
Subscription content may update when the plan status or routes change. After the first successful import, the client will usually retain the configuration. Use “Update Subscription” later to retrieve the current routes instead of creating the configuration again each time. If the panel looks normal but the client still cannot read the subscription, consult the connection and troubleshooting guide and match the error message to your platform.
Complete the client import on each platform
Open the client downloads section in the user panel and choose the platform for your current device. Use the user panel for the client and acquisition instructions; this page does not provide static installer URLs. After installation, the core process has two parts: add the copied link in the subscription manager, then run an update so the route list appears in the client. Interfaces vary by platform, but the workflow is the same.
Windows
Select Windows in the user panel and get the VyVPN client according to the instructions there. After installing and opening it, look for “Subscription,” “Configuration,” or “Config Files,” then choose the option to add from a link. Paste the complete subscription URL copied from the user panel, give the configuration an easy-to-recognize name, then save and update it. When the update finishes, the main interface should show a region or route list. Do not change advanced network options yet; keep the default settings for the first connection.
If Windows displays a network access confirmation, verify that the client currently open is the one obtained from the user panel, then follow the system prompt to allow the required network permissions. If no routes appear after import, return to the subscription list and run an update manually. Also check that no spaces were added before or after the pasted content. Once the routes appear, continue to the connection step.
macOS
Select macOS in the user panel and use the entry provided on the device page to get the appropriate client. The first time you open it, macOS may ask you to approve a network extension or VPN configuration; this permission is required to establish the system connection. After completing the system prompts, open the client’s subscription manager, choose to add via URL, paste the full subscription link, and save it.
Then update the subscription and wait for the route names to appear. If the client has imported the configuration but cannot enable the connection, open macOS System Settings and check whether the corresponding network configuration is allowed. Do not run multiple similar network clients at the same time, as they may override one another’s connection state. Keep the VyVPN configuration and proceed to route selection.
Android
Get the client and installation instructions from the Android section of the user panel. In the client, open the configuration or subscription page and choose to import from the clipboard, a URL, or a remote subscription; the exact label depends on the current interface. Paste the subscription link, save it, and tap Update so the client can load the available routes. When starting the first connection, Android will show a system VPN permission dialog. Confirm it so the client can establish the connection.
If the pasted link is reported as invalid, return to the user panel and copy the complete content again; do not add anything to the link yourself. Some systems restrict background activity. If the connection drops after the screen locks, check the client’s running permissions in the system app settings. During initial setup, first confirm that a foreground connection works, then adjust background behavior after the basic process is complete.
iOS
Select iOS in the user panel and follow the instructions to get a compatible client from the App Store. After installation, open the client’s subscription or configuration section and choose to add from a URL. If the user panel provides an import button adapted to the current client, you can also start the import from the panel. Save the configuration, run an update, and confirm that the route list has loaded.
During the first connection, iOS will ask for permission to add a VPN configuration and complete authorization through the system. After authorization, the corresponding VPN status will appear in the status bar or system settings. If switching from the browser to the client does not import automatically, return to the user panel, copy the subscription, and paste it manually inside the client. Do not use the example address as a real subscription.
Choose a route and connect
After the subscription update finishes, return to the client’s main interface. Choose a region based on the service you want to access rather than judging only by geographic distance. For everyday browsing and collaboration tools, start with a region near your current location and a shorter route. For streaming platforms or online services with regional requirements, choose a route matching the content’s target region. VyVPN covers 120+ countries and 220+ routes, so if a connection fails, you can switch to another route in the same region and continue testing.
Select a route and start the connection, then wait for the client status to change from disconnected to connected. Different clients may use a toggle, connect button, or system tray menu to control the status. Do not switch rapidly between multiple regions while connecting, or it will be difficult to identify which route is causing the issue. If the current route fails, stop the connection first, then select another route in the same region and try again.
After the connection is established, open a familiar webpage to confirm basic access before testing the target app. If webpages work but a particular app does not, check whether the app retained an old connection, whether its account region matches the selected route, and whether the client is using the correct configuration. Reinstalling the client is not always necessary; disconnecting, changing routes, and reopening the target app is usually enough for an initial diagnosis.
If no route can connect, check the following in order: whether the subscription updated successfully, whether the plan is still active, whether the system granted permission for the VPN configuration, and whether another network tool is using the system proxy. A more complete troubleshooting sequence is available in the Help Center; this page does not cover protocol or system network stack details.
Verify that the connection is active
Once the client shows that it is connected, open this site’s IP Lookup page and review the current exit information. Compare the result with your network region when disconnected. If the exit region matches the selected route, system traffic is passing through that route. After verification, open the target website or app. This helps avoid mistaking account, cache, or region-setting issues for route problems.
If the client shows connected but the IP lookup result has not changed, first check whether the client is using system proxy mode or VPN mode, and confirm that the current browser is not configured with another proxy. Then disconnect, quit and reopen the client, and select a route to reconnect. On Windows and macOS, also check whether another proxy configuration remains in the system network settings. On Android and iOS, confirm that the system VPN status matches what the client displays.
If the IP region has changed but the target service still shows the original region, close and reopen the target app and, if necessary, clear that service’s site cache. For streaming platforms, the route region, account region, and content licensing area may all affect the result. See the Streaming Guide for the relevant mechanisms and route-selection guidance. Avoid changing many client settings at once; first confirm that the exit information matches the target region, which usually makes the cause easier to identify.
At this point, the account, plan, subscription, client, and route form a complete setup chain. To use VyVPN on another supported device, sign in to the same user panel, get the client for that platform, and import the subscription from the account. Devices are unlimited, but the subscription content should still be kept secure by the account holder. When the route list changes, update the subscription in the client; there is no need to create another account or place the same order again.
First connection checklist
- The user panel shows the plan as active, and the subscription section opens normally.
- The client has updated the subscription and displays routes to choose from.
- The system has granted the permissions the client needs to establish a VPN configuration.
- The client shows connected, and the IP lookup result matches the selected region.
- Disconnect the current connection before switching routes, then update the subscription and verify again.
